    Default Elevit Tablets - Advice

    Hi ladies
I went to the chemist today to get my Elevit tablets and I got the wrong ones!
I am trying to conceive but picked up the Womens Multi Vitamin, the one without the Iodine! Do you think these are still ok to take? or should I just bite the bullet and go and get the right ones... yes silly me opened the container already! Haha
    Thanks

You could get a bottle of iodine tablets to supplement them

I did think that too but the box says if you are planning a pregnancy speak to your healthcare professional about a suitable supplement.

I think the vitamin A in the non pregnancy ones are the problem due to possible complications for the developing foetus. The folic acid may not be sufficient either
