Default My psychiatrist doesn't even understand ....

What do you do when your psychiatrist doesn't know what to do with you? You don't 'click' and feel they are keeping you with them for money? I can't afford to go through this again. I've been through gp's psychs and private ones. The each have their "free sessions" then ask that I get a referral for more. I'm done. I have nothing left to talk to them about and I feel I am falling through the cracks of the system.

Hi! How have you chosen your therapists in the past? Do you understand the type of therapy models they use? They may not have the particular skills that would be helpful to you. I might be able to give you a few tips if you pm me.
