Default Seeking Student Midwife or Doula

Hi there! I'm kind of trawling the Internet in the hopes of finding a student midwife or doula to guide me through my pregnancy a little bit. A little about me: I'm 24, I live on Brisbane's southside. I will be delivering at Redlands hospital. And I am pretty friendly
I would love to hear from anyone studying these topics at the moment so feel free to email me:

    Or just comment below

Crafty have you spoken with the hospital you will be delivering at if you are wanting a student?

The birth centre I had DS at had a folder of students all looking for women to follow through there pregnancy and would give out there details.

DH wasn't keen so I never actually looked into it but I assume there'd be a few to choose from. Otherwise google if your after a doula?

Because I'm not in the local catchment I don't get many services or visits. It'll mostly be my gp I see and a few appointments at the hospital ( like 5) so I'm not sure but I should definitely ask

Call the uni on that side of town? I know students at ACU are always looking and they can get someone based at your hospital to give you a call xx
