    Default Incompetent opposition

They were incompetent in government. Now they are just as incompetent as the opposition.

Albanese was absolutely hopeless on Lateline last night. Despite being fact checked rigorously by the ABC (not often I would be able to say that), he would not back down.
    This exchange is hilarious.

ANTHONY ALBANESE: If you look at Garuda - if you look at Garuda, for example, it's 69 per cent government-owned.

TONY JONES: But they're not one of the top 10 airlines.

ANTHONY ALBANESE: Yes, they are - yes, they are, Tony.

    TONY JONES: Let's ...

    ANTHONY ALBANESE: Yes, they are.

TONY JONES: Based on which category?

ANTHONY ALBANESE: Yes, they are. You Google "top 10 airlines in the world" and Garuda'll pop up.

TONY JONES: Oh, so Google is where you get your information from?

Their opposition to changes to the Qantas Sale Act are ridiculous. They will obviously say 'no' to anything that comes before them. But I guess they have to look after their union mates.

I don't think it's just the opposition who is incompetent. If we're going to point out all the false "facts" that the current government has given we will be here all night...

However, let's not forget as I posted in the other thread, close to 90% of legislation when he was in opposition passed with bipartisan support... Mustn't have been that bad, eh!

Not something the media talked much about. And this government is just sitting around twiddling its thumbs with not much legislation put forward.

    Or do you mean 'was'?

I guess Shorten is the new 'Dr. No'.
Albeit, not as competent based on his performance in Question Time today. Apparently, he thinks that Virgin is not as safe as Qantas.

I guess Abbott wasn't Dr. No after all.

There is not much they can do with a blocking Senate and an opposition that actually does say 'no' to everything, including trying to save Qantas.

With such overwhelming bipartisan support, I guess they weren't incompetent after all

I guess all those 'stupid' people who voted them in have not all changed their minds after all.

Who was the one saying 2% margin of error?

Either way, this is the time a government should still be enjoying a honeymoon period, but in fact, they are still down 2.5% since the election.
