    Default Books or ebooks?

I've just started my bachelors and need to buy my textbooks tomorrow. I was hoping to get them all second hand but can only find one I need. I'm now faced with the decision of whether to buy books or try and save a bit and get ebooks. I'm hesitant with the ebooks because I don't really like reading a lot of text on a screen and there is the problem of possible electronic issues that could see me without the book. On the other hand with paperbacks I can sell then on and I don't need to be at a computer to read them.

I'm just wondering what others have done? If you used wbooks did you find them ok?

Sent from my pho....oh who am I kidding. It's rarely used as a phone

Thanks. I've been leaning towards the hard copies. I think they'll be worth the little bit extra in the end.

I've got my main text this year in an ebook and I'm so glad I did! It really comes down to personal choice but I love it for a few reasons: I'm not a post it noter, I write my own notes in an exercise book. The ebook comes via an app and has the ability to highlight sections so that's kinda cool. It's compatible for iphone, iPad, and PC, and it syncs between devices so you don't have to remember what page you're up to it's obviously a lot less bulky - I just carry my iPad with me

I prefer hard copies. I find reading from books less of a strain on the eyes. I like being able to highlight and make notes on the pages as well. Also no risk of batteries dying and having to be charged..lol

I love books at home but the books on my ipad are so useful when we are out our travelling. I would love a library..
