I've even thinking I am going to make a card that on the front says "dear daddy" and on the inside says "I'm going to be a big brother" and get DS to give it to him when he gets home. Is that super corny and lame??
@Felicia I don't know, to be honest. We bd every 2nd day all month except for the past 7 days when we haven't done it at all as I was feeling a bit down about not being pregnant (silly me) but I figure I must have. I did a FRER about a week and a half ago and it was neg so I must have O'd much later than expected

@jesssalee sounds like you "o " right before your af was due - which is not uncommon ... Every 2nd day is what our VR specialist said -it covers all bases and there's no need for temping or opks ( makes it more natural I think)
Gotta be loving ur body and knowing what it's doing ATM!!!

I think thats a beautiful idea - I think I'll do exactly the same thing when I get my bfp
loved to know dh reaction tonight if you'd like to share :-)

Well, told hubby got DS to hand him the card, and he was smiling and saying "really?" Really excitedly and I cried, cause that's what the hormones make me do lol.

Great night I have a doctors appointment on Friday. I want to keep checking in here if that's ok? I want to see all of you ladies with your BFPs

Ok going to try and catch up now that I'm on the computer. Sorry if I forget anyone

Felicia- looks like a great party and the photoshoot is a great idea. Are you finally over that nasty cold?

    curlybird- for this cycle!!

    Welcome Squishie and SamG26

    cuky- how are you going?

AFM: My friend had her baby 4 weeks early on Tuesday at 1:35am. DH and I were lucky enough to be allowed in the delivery room shortly afterward so got to have fresh newborn cuddles.DH was a bit funny about holding the baby at first. He didn't want to break him LOL Felt pretty honored that our friends let us be part of such a special moment. Otherwise I'm going ok. 7 weeks today and feeling ok. Have days now where I feel like 3 bottles of wine the night before but I'm not actually sick so I can deal with that.

We told both sets of parents over the weekend and they are all very excited to be getting a grandchild in November.

So much to catch up on! Very lovely way to let your DH know @jesssalee @Felicia you looked gooooorgeeeeous at your DH 30th!!! @Dom82 how exciting for the new grandparents to be!
    Big welcome to the newbies!

    how are you @cuky?

i had my laparoscopy follow up today. I was a bit shocked to hear they had removed quite a bit of endo. I've never had any symptoms so this was a big surprise. He showed me the pics of my tube before they removed it from my abdominal wall and the adhesions too. He said that 60% of patients conceive naturally in the first 3 months after this operation. I o this weekend and then test the next week. I'm testing before I get on a plane to the uk and asked him about flying, he reckons it's a good thing to have a major life event when ttc and anecdotally this is when he finds his patients end up conceiving
If we don't have any luck in the next 3 months we try iui and then look into ivf.

Fx @babyla you won't need to look in that direction of iui/ivf.
It's great that your body is free of the adhesions and now hopefully everything is smooth for the swimmers to slide down n catch the eggie! Sending lots of good luck and wishes your way for a sticky bean naturally in the next 3 months!!!
@Dom82 aww.. I can only imagine how lovely it'd have been to get the cuddles!!

Cd16 for me, did an opk just then.. looking good and strong as expected this cycle for a cd16. I may have a +opk tomorrow or sooner. I have been taking it real easy since last af, not thinking too much abt ttc, focussing on other things and hoping secretly that it'll lead to a bfp

Haven't been dtd often this cycle. Managed to dtd on cd13 and this morning cd16 so far. Hoping to get 1-2 more sessions this week to cover all the bases but don't want to turn it into a "babymaking exercise" as I'm guilty of doing in the last 2-3 cycles. The count is a lot less this time than the past few cycles but it seemed more like a task or chore back then.
But as they say all it takes is one lol. I hope the "less is more" philosophy works this cycle!
