    Yes it makes me think of a male duck too.

    I have heard it as a name once before though (Cassie from ANTM called her baby Drake)

    Drake is nice, and not common at all. I think Drake Stephen sounds lovely

    I learnt the hard way. Before my second child was born I asked on what people thought of the name we had chosen for her. Not many people liked it and in fact turned me off it by saying it reminded them of such and such. So we didn't use it. After she was born then we regretted it.

    I think if you and hubby like it then don't worry about the people who don't. I'm sure there are plenty of name out there which people have used that you haven't liked! Names are such a personal thing.

    Ps I ended up using the name we loved for dd2 and I'm do glad we did!

    Nope I don't like it. I keep thinking of Draco the dragon out dragonheart. The dragon was voiced by Sean Connery.
