So I saw my GP yesterday just to talk to her about my cycles being a bit whacky and she was great. So I'll have a blood test next week to check I've ovulated and another test at the start of next cycle. She also wants me to have a pelvic ultrasound which I'm actually really nervous about -not about the procedure itself but the fact that they might find something wrong. Who else has had one and how did you find it?
I've had it done. Not massively comfortable but not too bad. Nothing came out of mine but it was three and a half years ago

I've had the good old dildo camera more times than I can remember. I think a Pap smear is more uncomfortable.

That's how my PCOS was diagnosed and then doing IVF always checking on your follies etc.

Hopefully they won't find anything but I'm always of the opinion it's best to rule out everything you can ASAP. Did you GP also give you a referral for your DH to have a Sperm Analysis too? Mine did that at the same time I was having my first pelvic ultrasound so that way we could forgot about him and focus on me.

Good luck! Hopefully you will O this cycle and get your BFP and won't need to worry about any of it

I assume you're talking about an internal scan? I found the dildo cam to be fine. Nothing different to what already happens in your life.

Only time I've found it a little uncomfortable was when checking for follies and the FN was wiggling it side to side to see them. Nothing major, just odd.

    Aww, thanks!

I rang the FN to ask if it was even worth continuing to use the progesterone pessaries, as they are making me itchy and I'm totally over it and probably PM hormonal, and just want to get AF, deal with the pain and move on....plus not sure how I'm spotting and getting AF symptoms while on progesterone!....anyway, she said I had to keep using them as "you never know"!!!!!!!!!! Argh! I'm pretty sure I do know! Have been feeling like this every month for 25 years now! Would love for her to be proven right, I'd eat my hat!

    Anyway, rant over! Sorry!

she said my blood test wasn't supposed to be until the weekend but they scheduled it early so I didn't have to have BT over the weekend. So I'll go by the book and wait.....if you like you can wait til Sunday to update me, should be in full on pain by then! And if not I'll be totally celebrating.....after eating my hat!

    Keep those BFPs coming girls!
Fx Tx and Ex for those testing over the weekend and quite a few on Monday!!
I'm getting my BFP buzz on from all of you on these threads so keep it up!

P.s. Always love to see the pics of the double lines so make sure you include a pic as well!

I know some ladies get a different kind of cm around O time. I know its kind of like a plug that forms to keep things out. And I know it happens every cycle regardless if you catch the egg or not.
What I want to know is if the happens the moment when you release the egg, or a few hours or a day later after the egg is released.
And is it pointless dtd when you get that cm because swimmers cant get through?

    Any thoughts?

(/'^')/ \('~'\) \('o')/ - need a cheer squad to get me through this TTC journey!
Are you talking about egg white CM? My understanding is that it actually helps the swimmers get up into the uterus.
