I have a budget spreadsheet too. If I didn't I'd spend all of my money on clothes.

Hey @MrsTugs, can you please put me down to test on 4 April? Shrillian reckons I'll get my BFP then. My temp dipped today, so hopefully I o today & my temp will rise tomorrow.

Woohoo!!! Phase one is coming true!

Also, I am either 10DPO or 1DPO, depending on which surge I'm counting from. Testing buddies! Yay!

Sorry I've been quiet ladies, my phone data cap is maxed so the only time I can BH is at work and it's been so busy lol.
I also budget but not very carefully like you ladies. My biggest savior is that every pay day a portion of my major bills (the quarterly/annual ones) goes directly onto the bill. This means that when the bill comes it's already been paid off, or at least mostly. I accidentally over allocated on my gas bill when I got it, it was $120 in CREDIT! lol. But my elec bill this time around was $6. So great
I also pay $1,000 towards our loans every pay without fail (fortnightly) but the rest I kinda just wing it :|
I've been trying to smash out all this debt that seemed to grow to some ridiculous amount due to wedding, and teenage carefree credit spendings. We finally consolidated it all and have cut a huge chunk out, but we have a ways to go. The aim was to pay it all off before falling prg, then we decided ahh stuff it, as long as it's paid off before bub ARRIVES. But now with our ttc issued, it will probably be paid off before our bfp lol. Which ultimately really is actually a good thing, and will make life so much easier for us in the long run.

@MrsTugs - I'm only really organised with the main "regular" bills. I, too, wing it for things like groceries, going out, etc. which we always overspend on lately. Oops. I tend to chuck extra money into the bills account, which is a saving grace for us this pay cycle as we'd otherwise have only $100 till next week pay day! Major OOPS!

I usually chuck my "extra" into the petrol fund. I don't budget for food, but do for the petrol (my reasoning is that you can always last a couple days before pay day on the food in the cupboard even if it just means getting creative, but if you are out of petrol that's it end of story.

Ours blew out thanks to the wedding last year too. We had almost paid off our CC completely then DHs b'day/BILs b'day/Christmas happened. Ah well. We're not that bad off, DH just wants the CC paid off and a few thousand in savings before we start doing anything.

I only got my first ever credit card the year before last. It was all fine up until our holiday last year and then just stayed close to max from March till December. Just keen to get rid of it as it's our only debt (thankfully). I hate having debts!

Meh. DH is in a ****ty mood and he isn't even home yet! Having fun arguing via text. Not.
