    Looking back the last few cycles I'm glad that things are slowing returning to normal . I hope with this (March/April) cycle I will *finally* return to my usual monthly 28cd with ovulation on cd17

    I guess I should join in here now too! So AF is due April 10th so make April 9 my testing day please Mrs Tugs. We will celebrate our first wedding anniversary on April 6 so it would be nice to get an anniversary bfp - even if it is a few days late. I'm in 2 minds about April. I'm not particularly keen on a Christmas baby, but I don't want to stop actively TTC just because I don't want a December baby. (Knowing my luck I'd get a bfp in May, end up with twins and deliver in December anyway). I told DH that we will still try, just not too hard haha.

    I've got a few other health things to sort out this month anyway. I just hate it when you book in to see a specialist and you can't get in for aaaaages. My GP rang me with some pathology results a week or 2 ago, but I have to wait til April to see the specialist to get the full picture. Grr.

    I'm definitely in for April too. CD1 now. Just booked for acupuncture, going to try SMEP and putting DH on vitamins.

    @Lolamc - what's SMEP?

    @theoneandonlyem - good luck! I'm the same - would have preferred a November baby, but will be happy with an any-month-baby!!! *laughs*

    Congrats for your upcoming wedding anniversary! I'm hoping to have a BFP by April 16th as that will be our 3rd wedding anniversary!

    Will you be doing anything special to celebrate your first wedding anniversary?

    @Shrillian - nothing exciting planned really. We have a voucher for dinner at the hotel we got married at, so we were thinking about staying there for the night. We like the chance to feel a bit posh seeings as it doesn't happen very often lol.
    @Lolamc how long have you been doing acupuncture? I'm keen to do it but DH is freaking out about the cost. The lady I want to see charges $90 for the initial consult then $70 for subsequent and wants to see me weekly for the first month to get a good idea of my cycle.

    Good luck for acupuncture @Lolamc!

    @theoneandonlyem - mine cost $50 per session. I did it for 6 sessions, with the possibility of having to do 10 sessions if my period wasn't a regular length by the end of the 6th one. No initial cost, as she asked all the questions at the head of my first session. Do you have PHI? I claimed most of mine back as "remedial massage".

    ETA - I'm going to book dinner at the restaurant we had our first meal at the day after our wedding & reception. We did it last year as well, so thinking I'll keep it as a tradition. I like your idea of staying in a hotel that night - might do that for us as well!!

    Yep we have PHI. I'm covered for acupuncture under my extras so that's a bonus. I think the initial appt costs more because it's for all the info and what not she goes through and then the following sessions should only cost around $50 (after claiming through PHI). DH is just really frustrating when it comes to money. Only this morning he was saying we were in a good position, yet now this afternoon he's saying we have no money. It's annoying. He's flipping out because we have an electricity bill that's come through that he didn't predict for and we're both due to pay rego in may (which will sting a bit for sure) but it's not like we're destitute. We have savings and I rarely spend money on things other than groceries and petrol (I have a very dull social life haha) but I don't want to go ahead with it just yet when he's like this because I know he'll get all stroppy and moody - he's worse than me!

    @Shrillian smep is the sperm meets egg plan. You can google it but its basically bd'ing every second day from cd8, then once you get a pos opk you bd every day for three days, then skip one and bd once more. Someone on BH mentioned it and I did some research last week so has to be worth a try.
    @theoneandonlyem I've been quoted about the same as you for acupuncture. The only thing is I don't have irregular cycles so not sure it will help. I figure I'll go to initial consult and then see.

    So annoyed though as my last PHI covered acupuncture and I never used it. Now it's not covered on the new one...typical!.
