    Congrats Lizzy 😊

So ladies we had Harvey's 2 week check up yesterday and got some bad news. The doctor thinks he may have hydrocephalus which is pretty dangerous (cerebrospinal fluid accumulating in his brain) and we have him booked in for scan next Friday on his head. Then off to Brissy the following week to see a pediatrician to get a second opinion if that's the case then he will need surgery (ongoing thru his life) to get a shunt to redirect the fluid. The reason for them to think this is cause he hasn't regained his birth weight yet, the soft spot at the front is very full and he has continually effortless vomiting after all feeds due to pressure in his head. So we are hoping that she isn't right but have to get the second opinion to deal with it urgently if it is 😥

Oh Lan I'm so sorry to hear that. I really hope it ends up being nothing to worry about. It's good that it's been picked up now though so you can address it straight away. How scary, will be thinking if you next Friday.

Oh Lan, you poor thing. I really hope it turns out not to be that and he gets better soon. How aweful for you and the waiting must be killing you. I will be thinking of you and sending good vibes to you and your family x
