Lan.- good idea hopefully the acupuncture will get things moving along. Does your Ob plan on inducing near due date or happy to let you go over due date?

All good here, bub still posterior and have been having some intense back pain through the night but then nothing, dammit! I'm getting impatient as I know I have until mid to late next week and if no spontaneous labor it's another Cesarean (which I don't mind at all had a great recovery from 1st one when DS was breech). Have got Chiro tomorrow morning and Acup booked for Sunday to try and get bub out of posterior posi and / or hopefully kick start labour. Either way I'm so excited and ready to meet this little one.

Rozzie my OB is away on holidays as of tomorrow and he said to talk to his Locum next appointment and if I don't go by my due date I can be induced earlier than the 10 days if I want to and if he thinks my body is ready by doing an internal. So will just see what Wednesday brings then go from there. No good about ur back I've been getting my partner to roll a tennis ball really hard around my lower back and tail bone it feels amazing lol u should try it yeah I understand how u feel now I kinda don't care how the baby comes just want to meet our little person lol and go shopping for either girl or boy clothes haha.

Sounds like a good plan Lan. Haha re the tennis ball, I've been watching this show in Austar can't remember the name but they are half hr episodes on different women's labour journeys, so interesting! So many different births, scenarios, etc it's nuts. Anyway the hubby on today's was rolling a tennis ball around on his wife's back, she was loving it! Lol

We did the gel this morning and I got to 2cm, so they broke my waters and started the drip. Contractions got pretty strong, had the epidural but cervix won't dilate. So to try to avoid a cs, my OB has turned off the drip & the epi abd we'll restart early in the morning. He doesn't want baby getting distressed if we push it too hard tonight.

I had similar issues with my labour with DD except that labour started on its own, my cervix hates dilating for some reason!!
