Definitely look up Dr. Jack. There are heaps of links to images of holds etc too.

My GP with DD put me on 3 tablets a day of motilium, saying that was the correct dose. It wasn't anywhere near enough. I started on 8 then settled on 6 +1 formula feed a day this time at my OBs direction. I've had GPs try to tell me I should only need 3 when I've renewed my script though. I don't have much success maintaining supply and weaning off them though. We're at nearly 9 months and mixed feeding so down to 1 tablet a day but I'm about to dose up on them again. We're moving interstate and EBF will be so much easier than faffing about with bottles while we move.

    Hi Stretched,

Wow I can't have been anywhere near 8 or 6 tablets as I would have remembered that. Thinking back it was probably more like 2 or 3, hence why it probably didn't work for me either.... Thanks for the heads up. I will be asking my Ob about it next week too.

Totally agree with you regarding the faffing about with bottles while moving. We moved from one end of the state to the other and that was bad enough lugging bottles etc.

I looked up Dr Jack and the links with the holds, very helpful 😃

    Thanks again 😀😀😀
