    Default Ideas for upcoming challenges

So far we have the following in mind, but we want YOUR ideas!

April - Clean & declutter in 20 minutes a day or less

May - Mindful in May (learning to live in the present moment and taking lessons from meditation to do so). The idea is based on this but we're certainly not pushing anyone to fundraise, it's more to see how a little time meditating or being mindful each day (or most/some days) helps us to cope with all life throws at us any better.
Is this something you'd be interested in??

    June - ???

    July - ???

    August - ???

    Lots more ideas needed

    Jx

    Ideas... Hmmm...

July jumping in muddy puddles. revisit your childhood or introduce your kids to the fun and take a photo a day, story a day of your messy fun.

August acts of kindness. improve the world one random act of kindness at a time.

I love both of these ideas, the July one could be so much fun - I find it hard to resist jumping in piles of crunchy leaves in Autumn

    just bumping this up.

bhjules has unfortunately left us ... but I am taking over her Community Development role, and I really love the idea of a monthly challenge.

Unfortunately my creative juices are far from free-flowing right now .. so I need some help with ideas here

    so ... H-E-L-P

How about listing something you did for yourself each day? Eg. Today I took a long bubble bath when the kids were in bed or today I treated myself to a delicious piece of cake.

It's something thats relatively easy to do and will encourage hubbers to take time to do something for themselves each day, to get them through, however simple

Maybe a revised version of the 100 days of happy. Just make it happy July (or whatever month you want). Each day you take a photo or write what's made you happy or what you're grateful for.

What about warm fuzzy month? Probably a bit harder to do on here than IRL but it's pretty much sending a note of encouragement to another member. Everyday you send a pm to someone just being encouraging or supportive.

I'll keep thinking! I like this kinda stuff!

Something that gives us an opportunity to celebrate what we do as mothers....and fathers, for the few dads that we have here. A while ago someone posted a challenge for everyone to take a photo of ourselves with our kids instead of always hiding behind the camera. I think we need to be challenged to put ourselves in the picture more often, literally and figuratively. Some thing along the lines of 'today I forgot about the vacuuming and I jumped in muddy puddles with my kids'.
