17th June – Windows and Window Sills
Vacuum all the bugs and grime from window sills and fittings.

Give the windows a wash or wipe - remember though, this is only supposed to be 20 or 30 minutes, so just do what you can. A full wash of every window in the house isn’t going to happen . For any outside windows (if you are keen), wash the window, then rinse with a mixture of water and a few caps of dishwasher finish … leaves no drips or water marks and keeps them clean for longer.

    how did everyone go today?

I did some window sills ... but not window cleaning. I have big french doors that I do clean regularly - so didnt need to do those.

Did linen yesterday - was pretty easy as we only have a couple of spare sets of sheets and only our good towels (all old stuff gets cut up for rags or towels used for the dog). Also cleared out a couple of junk boxes in that cupboard.

Windows is going to be a big job - we have around 50 in the house, so I think I'll break it up into 3 sections and do it over the next couple of days.

@decemberbubba - the challenge was just cleaning the window sills and ledges. Cleaning the windows themselves is way too big a job to be part of this.

18th June – Wipe down Doors and Walls
Wipe down all the doors, and any walls that need wiping … this is just a spot clean, not a full sugar soap washing.

I asked the cleaner to do the windows last week. Score! Walls are another story though. Will put the 20 minute timer on because I'll be here forever if I want the walls and doors clean!

Ooops, must have read it wrong! Will still work on cleaning the windows, as they are in desperate need of it, have managed to do all the kitchen/ dining/ living room sills, windows and a quick dust of the timber venetians today.

Bathroom vanity is done, and I did the linen closet a couple of weeks ago so it's still in good shape.

Windows and walls will take some time though... The dogs leave a lot of dirty marks on the walls!
