Oh dear, I seem to be getting badly off track in this challenge!! .

I am decluttering like a crazy person but I keep getting distracted by different areas! I haven't done my pantry yet but have completely stripped out my office and filing cabinet!

    DS1's room all done.

(Ignore the blankets on his bed, he is so particular they have to have specific ones)

Can someone please remind me of what the challenges have been so far. I am behind and I am having trouble finding time to scroll through all the pages looking for them. Thanks!

    1St June – A great way to start ... a small de-clutter.
Walk around the house and find 20 things that you don’t need, use or want to freecycle.

*google freecycle in your local area to give away unwanted items rather than send them to landfill.

    2nd June – Pantry
Go through your pantry/food cupboard. Clear out, throw out expired stuff, wipe down shelves and re-organise.

If you (like me) get pantry moths from time to time … wipe shelves with white vinegar. Bay leaves also repel pantry moths, so a leaf or two in your pantry will work really well. Keep your food in airtight plastic or glass containers.

Use masking tape to label containers. Easy to write on, and easy to remove later.

    3rd June – Fridge
Clear out anything that needs to be ditched. Wipe down shelves, give the crispers a good clean. For a lovely fresh smell in your fridge, leave open some vanilla - or half a lemon. Its so lovely to open the fridge when its freshly cleaned and smells nice.

Like most kitchen cleaning, baking soda can be used to clean your fridge – and an open box of baking soda stashed in the back of your fridge will absorb smells.

    4th June – Freezer
Yep, its time to throw out anything that is old and freezer burnt. Defrost, refresh your ice trays, clear out those peas that everyone has in the back corner .. and stack it all neatly.

I am posting them 1 day in advance, so the freezer challenge is actually for tomorrow, and tomorrow I will post Thursday's challenge.

Thanks KatiesMum - I have done the first two. Planning on waiting until the end of the week for the fridge/freezer as we did a huge shop yesterday and it's just too hard!

Hahaha whoops no, sorry! I have a very obsessive personality so this thread has spurred me into action....my poor DH is just following orders at the moment, we havent even had dinner yet and only the middle child is in bed, the other 2 are roaming free around the house
