    1St June – A great way to start ... a small de-clutter.
Walk around the house and find 20 things that you don’t need, use or want to freecycle.

*google freecycle in your local area to give away unwanted items rather than send them to landfill.

    Dont forget to
    - post your tips or ideas in here
    - post before and after photo's
    - share your joy/horror at what you find

Baking soda is an excellent green cleaning product to use throughout your home, especially in the kitchen. It's also food-safe and has no odor. Baking soda is mildly abrasive, yet it can't harm your surfaces, whether they're linoleum or expensive imported Italian marble.

You may also want to keep lemons and lemon juice around for some of the tasks too. Vinegar and lemon can often serve the same purpose, but lemon has a much nicer scent
    For the weekend peeps

Ok, for the first challenge I decided to stick in the one spot, so cleaned out the kids toy basket in the living room. A few more than 20 items - 1 box for op-shop and 1 box of soft baby toys for MIL. And after pic of toy baskets in living room

    well done all

I have been through and collected some of DD's clothes for donation, and a whole heap of what I call "General Junk" (hers and mine) to get rid of.

is nice to have a clean out once in a while

I cleaned out the 'medical' folder of our filing cabinet and finally submitted a bunch of receipts to private health so actually made some money! Also cleaned out my underwear drawer and chucked all the oldies .

I tackled the bedroom. So many old clothes I never wear! One of the drawers under the bed was stuck it had so much stuff jammed in it, think I've broken it when tugging it open! Not good. Haven't told DP...
