    Default Mental health perth

Hi. Is there an emergency mental health unit in perth that I can contact to make a plan of attack should it be needed for my mil? Bit of background: My mil moved to perth not long ago to be closer to her son (my dp). She has a few mental issues but has it pretty under control with medication.

When she lived in Melbourne she had a mental health emergency plan with the CATT team in case she went off her medication which has happened a few times since she started taking it. Since living here she hasn't had any medical records transferred or made an emergency plan so dp and I are getting onto it but I have no idea where to start.

    Thanks!

    Hi twolittlemunchkins,

You can always call Lifeline and ask their advice on the best services in Perth that would suit mil.

The WA gov also has a list of services that might be helpful.

Best of luck, I really hope you get it all sorted out soon so you all have peace of mind.

    Jules x
