Default Tell me your 'melt your heart moments'.

I have a roaring headache, d's was breastfeeding when I said my head hurts. He came off and climbed up and kissed my head better.

Please tell me some of your special moments.

    Naaw that's gorgeous. How lovely!

Well, for weeks I've been doing the whole 'kiss for..., kiss for mummy?' thing, and my son would just look at me when it was my turn for a kiss. Well, last night was the first time he kissed me back on the cheek. Well, to be honest, it was more of a just holding his face against my cheek and licking it a bit, but it counts!

Also, I've been a little worried that my DS isn't saying many words at 16 months. Last weekend I had to go into school to pick up some marking so we played on the playground, and there were about 100 pink and grey galahs on the lawn. As we approached they all flew up into the sky, squawking and flapping, and he pointed up to the sky and said 'bird!' I was filled with pride and joy..

My DD1 (18 months) tucked me into bed this morning and patted my head She's not very affectionate with me, and is just learning to kiss and pat, so I was very touched

My 4yo DD climbs into bed with me every morning, give me a huge cuddle and tells me she loves me and asks how my dreams were. So sweet!

My almost 6mo old DD loses her mind with excitement every morning when I get her out of her cot. Even though she can see me as she's right next to my bed... As soon as I stand up to get her she starts giggling and reaching out for me. Once she's up she cuddles my arm and nuzzles her head into my neck. Makes me want to cry every time!

I think I've told this one before but I love it !
We have a park accross the road with one of those bridges that wobbles when you walk on it and when DS was about 2 he was a little scared to walk over it so I would hold his hand and say don't worry mummy's got you , a few months later he could run over it no problem and once I was chasing him so I went to walk over the wobbly bridge and stopped and said oh no it's very wobbly, he ran over, held my hand and said
    - " don't worry mum I've got you" and I said oh baby you do and he said " mum I've always got you "

That is so sweet! Brought a tear to my eye 😅
