    My kids are on my card and their Dads card. Hence they have 2 Medicare numbers.

    When we were together we were all on one card. I then got a card of my own with me and the two girls.

    The only thing is, is that as my ex and I have 2 different addresses their address gets changed if they see a different doctor. This wouldn't be an issue for you as you are together.

    ETA All the family assistance etc was in my name though, so that might have made the difference. I can understand why they won't give you the information though. It should have been explained to you right at the start what would happen if your kids are not on your card.
