"I went to the store and 'brought' a new skirt" ... Argh! A girlfriend of mine says this all the time and it's slowly killing me.

Ha @Chippa I am a psychologist...I've seen a lot of interesting spellings of that over the years! Phycologist and physiologist are probably the most common. But what gets me most is when people refer to me as a councillor. Apart from that not even being my job title, at least use the correct form of the word!

I get that I care more about apostrophes than most, but I just can't understand how something like this could get through when it's a business logo. Doesn't anyone check this stuff? Does this mean there is an ENTIRE corporation that didn't have one person on their team that could spot this error?

I mean, their nappies are everywhere in my Woolies. It's in my face all the time and makes my eye very twitchy indeed! I'm one step away from writing a letter!

showing ownership of the product to the baby??

that's the only way I could think it might get by? although I question how accurate that would even be.

like instead of saying "these are William's bum wipes" it would be "these are little one's bum wipes" !?!?

    clutching at straws here!?

I'd never actually looked at these closely enough to notice the apostrophe to begin with. Now this is going to irritate me no end.
