Some of you may like the fb page 'Spell Check a Racist' - combines hating on bad spelling and grammar with making fun of racists. 😏

OK, question. Officeworks have the following painted on their buildings:

    Lowest prices everyday.

I am utterly convinced it's incorrect and should be "lowest prices every day" given "everyday" is an adjective. It just looks weird sitting at the end of a sentence. Am I right? I figure not because I would have though a business like Officeworks would get it right, but it looks so wrong....

See, I think my understanding of their catchphrase is that they have the lowest prices each day, so that's why "everyday" looks wrong. I guess if they mean lowest prices are commonplace then.....

But that just sounds stupid. "Commonplace lowest prices"? No.

DH thinks they're wrong as well. He's no oracle but he's smarter than me.

I feel like it's my civic duty to email them. For some reason it bothers me terribly. I drive past one every time I go to the gym so I'm already in a cranky mood because it's usually a) before 5.30am and b) I'm going to the gym. I concede these factors may impact my emotions about this topic.

Maybe, but that's no excuse for sloppy grammar on their part.
