I went to a local pub today for lunch. The dessert menu included:
"Chocolate brownie with chocolate gnash and whiped cream"

    I wish I was joking.

I attended a Professional Development seminar today, for teachers, presented by teachers. One included on a slide that we should use "peer revue" as an assessment tool and another's handout states that "[they] are not the most popular or sort after".

Perhaps these presenters should have sought out some peer review for themselves.

Oh my god that would annoy the crap out of me! Were there any feedback forms where you could go all red pen on them?

I saw another FB post referring to living in a 'culder sack'.

Is that a new fangle term I know nothing about? 😜

We recently had our house on the market and the real estate agent wrote up the blurb for the internet and other sale listings and he wrote "situated in a quite culder sac". I actually had to contact him and correct both spelling mistakes. Needless to say we did not end up selling our house through that particular agent as he was beyond hopeless.

This prompts me to comment on the "pedo". If the poster is American, then fine, but if not, it should be "paedo".
Which brings me to comment also on the mis-spelling of "Paediatrician" on Bub Hub...I frequently see "Peadiatrician"!! As a doctor myself, it irritates me thoroughly!! As a spelling and grammar nerd, it drives me bonkers!!!!

From the Daily Mail UK, 'Kangaroo eats, sleep and cuddles family's dogs, after they adopt him'.

Poor dogs. What a way to go.
