All these name change have reminded me of a situation at work. A few years ago the company I work for changed names. For ages after one of our clients would write to us like this: 'To Newco (formally Oldco)'. Every time I received one of these I felt like I needed to go out and get a little bit more dressed up.

Two people on my fb feed discussing the benefits of home schooling (one was, one wants to homeschool her daughter). This is real.

My FIL gave me a three page long handwritten story to type up for him.

His handwriting is atrocious and his spelling and grammar is woeful too!

    It was small writing too!

A few corkers: Hungary - hungry
    Uneventual - uneventful

The rest of the story had next to no commas, full stops etc. You couldn't tell one part of the story ended and the next began! My head felt like it would explode! It was SHOCKING!

If I had have tried to correct all his mistakes it probably would have taken me a week! I just ended up typing it up exactly as he had written it, even though I wanted to scream! I just didn't have time or energy to correct it.

My brain still hurts thinking about it.
