It's a praying mantis, because of the way it positions it's hands/claws/legs; resembles a prayer pose.

Lucky you didn't say anything! I thought you were going to say it was a grasshopper or something!

I hate when people use 'n' instead of 'and'. I don't know why it bothers me so much. I see it all the time on f/b!

Me too. It's really not that hard to write 'and'. I also dislike how people just write 'no' for 'know' now as well. Are we that time poor?

Exactly Gone are the days of having to abbreviate to squeeze extra words in to a text message.

Here's an example of what I loathe:

    The kids n I r going 2 b away but we r keen 2 c u when we get back.

    It hurts my eyes!

    Text speak is an abomination!

So, I saw this on FB today from a woman who had had her motorized bike stolen; she described herself as feeling 'guttered'. A most unusual feeling, one would think...

Just received an email from a fundraising organisation that I have previously donated to. Needless to say, I wasn't impressed with the following mistakes and gave up on reading the email after seeing the second mistake:

    "...restore a women's dignity..."
    "...is an horrific..."

It's supposed to be a professional organisation damn it!
