    Wow so fast today!!

    Megsarama yay for twins!!!

    90bayside yay that both twins are still going strong.

    Olismumma I hope you get the closure you need.

    Wishnhope I got dh to pick up all the things my sister had saved for me today. So now we have the cot play mats and a bouncer. She did give us her bassinet but I think I'll buy a new one as the wheels have fallen off one side. We are going to paint once we find out the sex in a few weeks hopefully. We also want to sand the cot back and also need to get the change table from my mum so we can sand that back to the same colour as the cot.
    I have everything crossed for you tomorrow.

    Frenchy so organised!!!!

    Hopeforlife I have had to get the fridge at work cleaned out so many times by others as it is about 3metres from my desk and constantly smells!!

    Hopeful4bub gorgeous pic

    @Wishnhope

    My results were:

    Weight = 57kg
    Free Bhcg = 0.85
    PAPP-A MoM = 1.54

    Based on my age (32) these were my risks:

    Trisomy 21= 1:431
    Trisomy 18= 1:1044
    Trisomy 13= 1:3276

    Then combined with my background (no history etc) and the NT scan (1.9mm) the risks were lower:

    Trisomy 21= 1:8627
    Trisomy 18= <1:20000
    Trisomy 13= <1:20000

    Good luck!!!!

    Hi @Wishnhope - I didn't get a copy of my blood test results, just what I wrote which was what was written in my results paperwork after the NT scan....so dunno the unit of measurement?

    I'm trying to remember with my other pregnancies, they didn't do a blood test back then to combine with the scan results?!?

    I'm sure it's fine, when u go for the scan, just breathe a sign of relief when u see bubba moving and heartbeat, then you'll see that they start checking things like 10 fingers, toes, 2 hands, legs, 2 feet, stomach, position of placenta, cord position, nose, eye sockets, ears etc etc. then they check that fluid gap in the neck....several times so don't freak out if they keep measuring the same thing!

    Anything less than 2.5mm is very normal!!!

    @Hopeful4Bub2 awesome pic @Wishnhope with the UI/L levels why is weight a factor, do you know? Good luck for your scan today! @90Bayside glad your two are going well! @megsarama wow! Congrats hun, they did both stick!! @misti not long now until you see th hb

    afm saw the ob last night (was meant to be a 4.15 appt but he was running an hour and a half late) but totally worth it when we saw our baby again....we could see its arms and legs and it was moving heaps and waving! We see another ob next week then pick which one to go with.
    And I am just throwing this out there...and please don't anyone think I'm shallow (this is something I have always 'struggled' with in my head) but is anyone else worried about how its going to 'be' down there after a natural birth? I did ask the question last night and he said it will all stretch out and be looser...I know about pelvic floor and the like but I'm slightly traumatised about stories from friends and my sisters where their bits sometimes end up hanging right down....am I being shallow????
