    Ladies, I was at the brink of tears at so many times during the first trimester, I felt guilty. I mean, I wanted this, I wanted to be pregnant....so how can I feel so miserable??

    Now that I feel better with the MS, I'm not beating myself up as much ...erk hehe.

    Welcome to all the new ladies!

    Do you ladies know how long we have to take the vitamins? Worked out by missing my vitamin today (Swisse) that I am not half as sick, no vomiting so far today! Maybe I can try another one or just folate/iodine. Most of you seem to take Elevit, do you get any nausea from it?

    @Flower78
    I have found that anything but Elevit makes me nauseous. They are expensive, but worth it to not feel ill.

    You usually take them for as long as you are pregnant and then for as long as you breastfeed (should you choose/be able to).

    Also, try taking it before bed and see if that helps?

    I found I was very nauseous from the Swisse ones.

    Hi girls,

    I think you're all a lot further along than me - I'm only 4+3 today...
    I'm still feeling very nervous about everything and to be honest, quite pessimistic. I'm still in the beta stages and have another on Wed and while my first two are in the normal range, I find they really stress me out... it did occur to me today that I actually don't have to have this next one... it is after all up to me.

    Just wondering how many betas you all had?

    Is there anyone on the thread who is quite newly up the duff like me?

    Em x

    I've got a few pregnancy app tickers on my phone - that are fantastic, and everyday i open them up as a motivating thing, one day closer to the birth and meeting hub.....it helps with my anxieties that things might go wrong all of a sudden.
    @GStef - you've been MIA for a little while? Is everything ok and has the bleeding stopped? Still on bed rest?

    Started thinking about hospital bags today and what to take! So allowed myself to be a little excited
    Hi!! Still under home arrest! Lol sorry I haven't been on for a while! Trying to stay sane! Still spotting but I'm beginning to think this is the norm for me! Annoying but the norm! We have a scan on Monday, 10.5 weeks, we also had scan last Monday ImageUploadedByThe Bub Hub1397111962.348625.jpg

    @Flower78 I take elevit and it makes me very nauseous, sometimes to the point of dry retching (sorry if tmi) BUT its the one highest in folate recommended to me by the clinic so I perserve. I don't know how long to take it for but probably as @Bow Ties Are Cool says. They did say take it at night if they made me feel sick but I didn't like how my tummy felt lying in bed! @GStef awesome picture, I am so glad its going okay for you, maybe that is going to be the norm. Hi @vanillababy your EDD is the day after mine @emski72 I had my first beta at 4 wks, then 5wks, then 6wks, then 7wks, my last one (8wks) is this Monday. I actually find them quite reassuring but I guess you don't have to have them if you don't want to. 4+3 is fine to join, I joined at 4+1 I think, try and stay positive xx
