So.. I have just returned to work after two weeks leave... to discover that my boss..who i am a PA for, in the last board meeting announced to all the directors that I am pregnant. AFTER I specifically told him no one was to know until 12 weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!

So now.. MY WHOLE OFFICE KNOWS! We haven't even told our families!!!! (save a select few!)

I am beyond angry . I feel so betrayed.

Bow thats awful!!! I hope everyone can keep their mouths shut. Either that or take a hint from the universe and take it that everything will be ok and make an early announcement.

    Hi ladies --

I hope it's ok if I jump in here. I've lurked a lot of these forums but never joined so I'm not sure how it all works! ha ha

DH and I did our second round of IVF with the lone frostie left after our first (failed) attempt -- I finally got a BFP last month, and the numbers looked OK but I didn't feel pregnant. Just came back from my six week scan and turns out it's all going ok!! So I guess I can finally let myself believe it!

Still don't have morning sickness or anything, but my tummy feels sore a lot and my boobs are getting bigger! lol

Starting to get worried about my weight gain tho -- I lost a lot in order to do IVF but since getting the BFP two weeks ago I have put about five kg back on Maybe I nervously ate too much chocolate while waiting for my scan

Has this happened to anyone else? I worked so hard to lose that weight so the surgery would be successful and the bub could be healthy -- now I'm worried that if I keep gaining at this rate it will be bad for both of us. UGH

All the info online seems contradictory and makes me worried about exercising or if I'm eating too much/not enough. Could really use some helpful advice. Have you girls gained much since your BFP? How much are you exercising?

Sorry for such a long rant for my first post! Feeling a bit on edge lol thanks ladies xx

He announced it at a BOARD MEETING???

Maybe he wanted to let people know you might be going on maternity leave? That's still a huge breach of privacy though. what a ******!!

Welcome and Congrats!! I too lost some stubbon weight just before my FET. (Not huge but I was happy) Im fairly certain its all gone back on in the past month. I dont exercise much at the moment- way too tired - BUT if its fine by your GP/OB any exercise you were doing before should be fine as long as you arent rasing your core temp too high.
As for food you can eat plenty as long as its healthy and nutritious (so said a friend who's seen a dietician through her pregnancy) Im a grazer (I feel sick if Im not eating constantly) so its rice crackers, nuts and fruit, protein full lunches and trying to avoid the carbs. There are lots of pregnancy meal plans on the internet that you could follow that way you know you are eating right and not eating too little/much.

I don't know what to say. Maybe he said because of the maternity leave but thats not yet and its not his news to tell anyway. He's bang out of order and although there's not much you can do about it now, I would tell him how let down you feel and that he has completely destroyed your trust in him. What a wa***r
