Late last year DH found a cockroach in the bruschetta of a well-known restaurant chain. Just as bad as the actual cockroach was the way staff handled it. We got a half-hearted apology from our waitress, the manager didn't make an appearance and they tried to charge us for the food!!!

Same here. I scroll past thinking, no I won't but always end up reading and getting scared to eat anything.

Hmm, might become a weightloss fad

Gross! I'm too scared to eat stuff too ew ew ew

I think the worst I've found besides weevils is a mozzie in a salad wrap I bought from the school canteen a few years ago lol.

A friend in high school bought a kebab and started eating it before realizing the bread stuff was all mouldy. Erk!

I sometimes find my own hair in my cooking but sneakily pull it out before hubby notices and starts inspecting his own plate!

I went to a restaurant once and got half way through my pasta before noticing it had what looked like tiny pieces of pubes in it. I sent it back and the next dish had the same! So I have no idea whether it was hair or not, I'm hoping it was just an ingredient that I'm not familiar with. So annoyed though, they still made me pay for it!

As a kid I used to tear Kraft single cheese slices into strips as I ate them. One time I found an eyelash in the middle of the cheese, totally grossed me out and Ive never touched any form of processed cheese ever again.

A few weeks ago I bought a bag of washed salad from Coles and when I opened it up out came a big moth. Dp complied on their fb wall and in the end they sent us a $10 voucher and a letter detailing the processes that go into trying to prevent that

Lol, peanut butter jar is no longer allowed out of the kitchen. It was a very tiny bit so easily camouflaged, but the fleck of polish gave her away
