I had a dead black house spider in my salad at the local pub. Another time, I had a pasta dish on Lygon St in Melbourne and bit into a chunk of metal scourer!

OMG, I can't believe how many of you have also found stuff.
It made me think about making everything from scratch at home.....until I remembered DD 10 found a cut toenail in her peanut butter sandwich at school a few weeks back
We worked out her 14yr old sister had been eating peanut butter out of the jar with a spoon, while doing a pedicure. It must have flown in when she cut it. Well at least we worked out where all the PB had been going

My boyfriend was eating dorito chips and he pulled out of his mouth a long strand of grey wool covered in cheese, well company traced it back to an employee wearing clothes that were not part of the uniform supplied, company handled it well but yuck.
I was working for a meat company in nz and I bought some sausages from the opposition the company state manager came in to replace and refund them he was so scared being in the reception and I all I could do was announce his arrival loudly to all and sundry ha ha

[QUOTE=mamaof4;7680297]Curby, I'm dying to know what brand yours is! Ozeymumof5 is probably right, and there's an employee with long blonde hair that sheds on their production line lol. Not sure if I should say the brand, but it's a blue and white tin with blue lid, and organic! Very organic obviously

Ewww I found a hair in this brand of formula too. Changed brands immediately.

I opened a tin of spaghetti sauce one night, VERY popular brand, and there was a maggot on top. I did nothing as I REALLY didn't want a replacement jar in their brand. I won't buy it again.
