Default Well that's a bit gross...

I just found a hair in the new tin of formula!
The tin was sealed, and a very fine long blonde hair came out with the second scoop. We are all brunettes/auburn , with very thick hair thats distinctive. Hands freshly washed, anyway it was buried in the formula so didnt just drop in. Ewww

As an aside, a few years ago I found a spider in a tin of Nescafe coffee. Big catering tin that I had just removed the foil, and started to scoop it out into a jar. The granules were all clumped together. A couple of scoops in I realised why. There was a huge black spider living in there, and the clumps were bits of web! He was alive too, no idea how!
We took it back to Woolies and the guy at the service desk didn't believe us and opened the tin. I swear he nearly wet himself when confronted with a spider that was not only alive, but full of caffeine. I still can't work out how the hell it survived!

We haven't bought a tin since

I found an earwig in the inner lid of a jar of pasta sauce. We called the company and the person we spoke to wasn't surprised, in fact they were very upfront about the fact that they had a problem with earwigs laying eggs etc. Friggen YUUUUUUUUCK!!!!!!

Ring the contact us line on the tin. They normal will either send you a new tin or a cheque to cover the cost of a new tin.

Curby, I'm dying to know what brand yours is! Ozeymumof5 is probably right, and there's an employee with long blonde hair that sheds on their production line lol. Not sure if I should say the brand, but it's a blue and white tin with blue lid, and organic! Very organic obviously
I should ring them. I kicked myself for not ringing Nescafé about their coffee addict spider, as DH reckons that one was worth free coffee for life

Omg at the spider in the pie, and earwig in pasta sauce! And the company knew! Ok, I now need to know a) what do earwig eggs look like lol, and b) you have to tell us which pasta sauce....I use tons of the stuff
