I loved my mazda 3 and was devastated to sell it to my parents to fund travel adventures. Probably getting a new one later this year though.

I just brought a VW Jetta. It is amazing, quite cheap 2nd hand compared to what you'd expect, amazing fuel economy ($75ish to fill and I get over 650kms per tank around town driving, well over 700kms per tank highway driving) and it has heated leather seats, dual climate control, a DSG and so many other features, I am in love with my car after driving a horrible unreliable car for 3.5 years.

I also have a Mazda 3. It is honestly the best car ever. I've had a ford fiesta, a Mitsubishi magna, a Volvo xc90 (7 seater) and now this. It took a while to adjust back to the smaller size. But is so roomy for a small car and has a huge amount of boot space! Costs next to nothing to maintain. I get between 400-500 k's out of $50-60 (depending on premium fuel price). It's amazing
    Good choice!
