    Default In Shock.....

So, I've taken 3 months break from IVF treatment after I spent all last year cycling which resulted in lots of outcomes from overstimulation, blighted ovum/miscarry..you name it...we went thru it. So, I decided March 014 would be the month I would start a fresh new cycle. So, I have my new referral, booked my start with the FS being to call in on Day 1 of my period. Period is due on Sunday. For the last couple of months whilst being on a break, I've been tracking my cycling noting down when I ovulated etc and just getting things back to normal.

Cut a long story short.....my husband has retrograde ejaculation meaning we can generally only fall pregnant with IVF because only the smallest amount of sperm comes out when he orgasms. Otherwise, there is nothing wrong with either of us. So we spent the last few weeks "trying" naturally.....knowing in our heart it would be impossible. My period is due this Sunday and I got a BFP on 2 tests 4hrs apart today. Very clear strong positive. Now what!!!! I'm in shock! It REALLY ONLY TAKES A TEENY TINY AMOUNT OF SPERM TO CONCEIVE! I'm worried, I'm excited, I'm nervous......I need a blood test to confirm this right?

Congrats! you can get bloods to confirm but generally speaking a positive pregnancy test is usually correct unless you are taking medication that includes HCG. So exciting! I bet your husband is excited too
