Default Birthday party in park for 3 year old

I'm planning a bit of a party for DS's 3 rd birthday but can't think of any suitable games to do. I can only think of pass the parcel and pin the tail on the donkey but neither really work in a park.

Any ideas? There will be kids a few years older as well.

We had DD2's 3rd birthday party in a park. The adults chatted and ate while the kids played and ate lol. I didn't worry about games, the kids still had a great time.

Sorry I guess I'm not much help!

We just had a 3yo party in the park yesterday. We had one game of pass the parcel using our phone for the music, a few bubble wands and we had a face painter. No other games needed as the kids were busy on the playground and running around.

We had DS's 3rd birthday at the park and it was a pirate theme, so I got a couple of buckets and filled them with sand and buried "treasure" (just plastic beads and bangles etc) but I think the best thing about the park is just letting them run and play.

I had DDs last party at the park. All I had was a piñata and they entertained themselves for the rest.

You could do a scavenger hunt? It could take as little or as long as you wanted?

    Ohh, piñata, good idea!

Theme, well DS wants a digger cake, a mister maker cake and a toy story cake!! I'm planning to do a digger/ construction cake.

The only thing is it's a fairly small park, it has a sea saw, couple of swings and a climbing/slide thingo. There is room for kids to run about though.

DD had her birthday in the park recently. A large part of it has sand as a base and I bought some $1 plastic dinosaurs from BigW so we could have a dinosaur dig (I just had to remember how many we had and where they were buried!!)

Bubbles are always popular, I bought a bubble gun from KMart for $5.

Egg and spoon races with ping pong balls and plastic spoons.
