welcome @frogpossum it is fairly complex, easily forgotten. @nvandmv good luck for your BT next week. @Enkeli I wish I knew how to stay positive too! I'm usually all good until that last week and then the disappointment is just crushing. I like to take off the day of the BT so I'm not at work stressing out.
@ headoverfeet congrats on getting the approval!

Well after saying the meds don't really affect me I did have a semi melt down yesterday. I think a lot of it is due to me trying to lose weight the past two months. Then meds and some work stuff yesterday and I'm sick too, it all just got to me and I ended up taking it out on my partner. I've done so many trips to the hospital, chemist, jabbing yadda yadda and he has to spunk in a cup once every few months! Anyway, back on track today I think, sanity returns.

Ultrasound this morning looked fine, 18 follicles so far. Which is normal for me as I have polycystic ovaries. They always tell me I might not be able to have a fresh transfer due to possible OHSS.

    good luck everyone!

Hey Bongley, a semi melt down every now and again is good for the soul... Unfortunately our partners are usually in the middle of it when we do... If you were having one every couple of days to every hour then I would say it's the drugs... It's all a stressful time... But the most we can do is keep our heads held high... Look for the rainbow in every cloud... And take some time to stop and enjoy what we do have... People that love us, people that support us, and all in all trying to make a Better world for ourselves and hopefully to bring up the next generation... Choose a happy colour and smile. Life could be in all honesty be a hell of a lot worse.

@Bongley you're not on your own with the melt downs hon. It's such a stressful process sometimes it feels a bit overwhelming with everything we need to do, there always seems to be something coming up. Try not to be too hard on yourself, a good vent works wonders sometimes. I'm sure your partner understands.

Bongley, meltdowns go with the process. Go easy on yourself and give dp a big hug to make up. I was so sure this time I would go into it all relaxed and easy going, but the crazy, almost obsessiveness doesnt take long to suck you in again. Just trying not to be constantly focussed on what comes next and just take some time out for me and "normal" stuff.

Afm, going away to bff this weekend, cant wait!! Also trying to focus on designing our dream home, I guess trying to spread the focus onto other things lol

Hello and welcome to all the people who have just joined this thread.
@Willowglen (sorry don't seem to be able to make this hyperlink) - how did your transfer go? Hope your frostie made it through the thaw okay and all is going well since. That is something that scares me too as I haven't done a FET before and I am worried I will get in on Monday and they will tell me that my frsoties don't like being thawed and none made it. I am actually lucky as I have 11 on ice so I know the chance of none making it is slim but I still worry.
@justoneweek and Rice - Let's hope Monday is a lucky day for us all!!
@headoverfeet - I think it is amazing what you are doing, what a generous and kind hearted person you must be to do this for someone. I was at my FS the other day and the people going in after me were two women and a man. Hearing your story made me wonder if one of them was a surrogate ('course the extra lady could have just been a sister or friend offering support I guess or they could have an unconventional relationship).

    Hi ladies
thanks for all the well wishes. FET went off without a problem, sooooo excited it survived the thaw as we have had 2 die previously. I'm now PUPO and excited and nervous! Feels like I've bought a lotto ticket and I'm waiting for the numbers to come up. Hopefully my odds are better than that but doesn't feel like it after so many failures.
Good luck everyone with upcoming BTs. Here's to a lucky march for us all!

The pens have multiple doses in them so depending on what dose you are on you'd use a Ddifferent amount from the pen
