Thanks @Bongley. I hope everything works out and those lines get darker!

This is my first time and hopefully I have a 5dt on Tuesday. I know I'm jumping ahead, but when can you start to POAS? Will taking progesterone and oestrogen give a false positive or is it only the trigger that can do that?

Sorry love, I had the opposite problem after EPU for a few days. Surely if it's safe in pregnancy it should be safe now tho. Good luck!

@Megsarama26 I took coloxyl. I asked a pharmacist and was told by my ob in my last pregnant that it's ok to take. I'm still not a 100% can't tell if it's crampy from that or something else.

Hi @krys1224 as far as I know progesterone and oestrogen won't give you a false positive. Just anything containing HCG like the trigger injection, pregnyl and ovadrel. I'm not sure how long it takes to come out of your system. I guess you could try and POAS really early on and check that it comes up negative.

That's why many ladies wait for the blood test (and why nurses tell you not to POAS), its a bit flaky to try and work out and could give misleading results. Some of us still do it though
Are you on any medication since your trigger, like pregnyl boosters?

    Good luck for tuesday!

@Megsarama26 - the pharmacist told me liquid paraffin is safe (sold at pharmacies not the kerosine burning type).

Hey ladies I've been trying to read along on this thread but it just moves so fast and can't manage to keep up with it all but just wanted to answer @Megsarama26 question about constipation.

I've been exactly the same since my EPU on Wednesday I was told by FN and did it with my first cycle when I got OHSS to take lactolose which is safe to use in pregnancy. It is just a liquid that you add to you drink but it takes me a few days for it to actually work. I started taking it on thurs night and did go this morning a little but I'm still bloated heaps and feel like I'm constipated still.
@Megsarama26 if you really want a clear out I would try using a suppository but I'm not sure if safe for ivf or not but I'm going to use one tomorrow to try and relieve myself before my transfer on Mon.

    Good luck

    Hi lovelies,

Sorry for my absence, I got another BFN this month. So far I've had two great quality blastocysts transferred that both failed, it just makes me really nervous for the future.

I also agree with all you girls about finding the comments hard.

Congrats to the girls with bfp's. Wishing those still cycling the best of luck, and for hope the rest of us can get started again soon.

Thank you ladies so much for all the replies (nothing is off limits in ivf, lol)

I have just walked out of the clinic PUPO with 2 blastocysts on board. 1 was really good looking (the embryologist was really happy with it) and the other was good but not great. We still have the other 3 going but are only compacting on day 5, so they will grow them til tomorroe anf see if any are ok for freezing. I dont think ill have any frosties but I dont really care cause im pupo again :-) this id our first double transfer.
