@frogpossum oh no, that must have been very disappointing for you. I haven't had that happen either (or heard of it) but you might get some more follies before trigger. Mine tend to really come up in those last days. Did the nurses shed any light on it? I would have thought they'd seen everything.

@frogpossum this cycle my right ovary is responding really well and my left one is being lazy (my words..) and the sizes are smaller (cannot remember off the top of my head) sounds like you have a good number of follies on one though - so try not to be too disappointed as you said it only takes one! - this is my fourth cycle and responses do change, this is the first cycle I have ever felt bloated and sore... Fingers crossed for you - when do you think EPU is?

    Hey ladies,
I had another scan today. The report says: right side 17 follies, size 1x17, 1x16, 1x14, 2x11, the rest under 10. Left side 18 follies, size 1x14, 1x13, 4x11, the rest under 10. So thats 35 but the nurse said she thinks there will probably be around 11 mature eggs. She said she will call this afternoon to tell me when to trigger and when epu will be after she chats with the fs. Will post personals and dates later today :-)

Thank you Rarah11. I guess because Im on a bigger dose than my last cycles and judging by the sizes may only get 4 eggs, I just thought Id be doing a bit better. I think I will trigger over the weekend, nurse this morning said they may give me one or two more nights of jabbing, so depending on that, pick up early next week id say.
I did read on google that a lazy (or in my case a very lazy) ovary is more painful during stimulation than a responsive one! Go figure!?!?

Good luck to everyone on the 2ww - fingers crossed for many many bfps this month!

AFM still waiting for AF to arrive before starting FET. This will be my first FET and saw the nurse today to get instructions and pick up my drugs. I'll be on a medicated cycle with daily small dose gonal-f injections and pregnyl trigger and boosters after transfer. I've only used ovidrel for trigger in the past which seems so much easier to administer than pregnyl. I'm sure I'll get the hang of it tho :-/

I have my first endo scratch on Tuesday and the nurse gave me a sedative to take 2 hrs before which is good. Then hopefully I'll be starting day 1 roughly a week from Tuesday. Can't wait to get started. I only have 2 frosties and just transferring 1. Praying it survives the thaw ok.

Well, out of my ten eggs (6 mature) 8 have fertilised which I am cautiously over the moon about! Great result seeing as 2 eggs must have matured and then fertilised overnight. We have had really good fertilisation rates these last 2 cycles, I don't know if its anything to do with the new and improved solution that Genea formulated in the past year or two. Cycles 1 to 4 we only ever had a 50% fertilisation rate. Still, it all seems to go pear shaped from day 3 but I will try and enjoy the positive vibes for now.

I am the same this month @frogpossum and this is my first cycle, so I would not know otherwise. I have 10 in my right and just 1 in my left. The nurse said that 'My left one is being lazy this month.' She didn't seem too concerned about it.

I am on a trial with a lower dose of FSH, so all the docs and nurses still seem pretty happy with how I am progressing. I had my second scan this morning and they have grown, but are still too small. So back for another scan and bt on Monday. I am hoping slow and steady wins the race!

    Congrats @Bongley!!

Sounds like a fabulous reason to celebrate! !! Congrats for your lucky 8.

AFM - disappointed today, had my second scan and out of my 4 folicles on the last scan one had grown well to 20, one stayed at 11, one grew to 14 and one disappeared. How do they just disappear? ? So more jabbing on higher dose, rescan Sunday. They are hoping not to lose the 20 and want the 14 to grow, but not sure they will go ahead with only 2 follies. So I guess I just wait till Sunday and figure it out.
