@Bongley - thank you thank you thank you @miissalina I would take the Thursday off too, especially if they think you'll get OHSS. Mine EC was done on a Thursday and I booked Friday off and then had the weekend, which I needed...I was so bloated I couldn't even get my work clothes on! I was worried someone was going to ask if I was pregnant and I'd have to say no..... It took me about ten days before I started to feel better. Good luck and let us know how you go

@Miissilina I'm a poor responder so only get about 6-8 eggs and I'm fine the next day - I'm thinking I'll take the day before off work has been so hectic I need some de-stress time - hope you go ok!

@Rarah11 FS is thinking we will only get between 8-10 mature eggs but I don't no if she ment that's all she'll collect or if that's all that will be mature as I have about 25-30 follicles I'm hoping I feel ok , I'm getting anxious about the anaesthetic I have a minor fear about getting knocked out just don't like the thought of being no where if that makes sense lol

@miissalina 25-30 follies is a good number I only have about 8-10... As soon as you go under the next thing you know you are in recovery... I'm sure you'll be fine and fingers crossed you only go through it once!

I used to love going under, ha! It was great it all being over and done with in the blink of an eye and waking up to a warm pack on my tummy and some biscuits and water. Unfortunately they do the EPU while I'm awake at RPA. Boo. Still saves me $400.

I feel fine the day after egg pick up and I usually have 25+ follies, which usually yields around 7 or 8 eggs. It usually all goes rapidly downhill from there........

Man... I'm not on here for a couple of days and life explodes for everyone... So a blanket of hugs and welcomes to all of the new people joining us this month and a to those in the tww sticky baby dust...

AFM- I arrived in Sydney yesterday as well as AF. Sent email to dr prior to getting on a plane and by the time I reached Brisbane (for my layover) I had a response to say go get day one bloods taken when you arrive...
See my new FS today... And the Genea nurses tomorrow... And let me just say... What a difference in clinics from regional QLD to Sydney... I feel already like I am in the right place for me.

Thanks @Bongley! Im only on Day 9, so still a fair way! It's my first cycle too, so quite nervous with what to expect.

Had my scan this morning and my follicles are still too small. Waiting on the blood test results, but will probably be booked in for another scan on Friday.

Krys I was quite excited and nervous with my first cycle last month too... But it went a bit easier than I though even though we didn't the results we wanted.. It's a trying time, but in the end it could be everything we are looking for... Good luck
