@rainbow brite I was on 87.5 and wound up with 24 eggs. Everyone's body is different in how it reacts. As others have said, better to start low until you know how your body reacts, particularly if you have pcos.
@Rtropps I have been staying away from alcohol and coffee in the lead up although I have wondered if it makes any difference and I did have a couple of wines and a coffee after my bfn.

Im paranoid we are going to miss my ovulating! Had a tiny bit of ewcm today, I wouldnt normally pay any attention this early...normally I only notice when I am feeling wet or when I wipe and there is loads but I've been checking toilet paper and spotted it. Wishing I had some opks. My brain knows we wont miss it, I know I am being paranoid..feel like there is a lot riding on it!

@Rtropps - I'm also waiting for AF before FET and tbh I'm just carrying on pretty much as normal. My clinic has told me that the odd glass of wine or coffee isn't going to have any affect at this stage. In my opinion, the most important thing is to stay healthy but relaxed and to try and live as normal a life as possible. I'm trying to keep to a balanced diet, taking my multivits and enjoying some wine now and again. (I did cut out wine and caffeine when stimming) x

Good luck everyone with upcoming BTs. Here's to a lucky march for us all!

Hi ladies, I've been reading along for the last week or so- I had a FET on Thursday (6/3).
@Rtropps I have still been having my one morning coffee but no alcohol after the transfer. I did have a few drinks after my bfn but no binges. I figure that this caper is hard enough without giving up everything you like and feeling even more resentful if you get a bfn. This time I even had a boutique cider the night before the transfer as if it's successful I won't have a drink for a while (we usually get soft-serve but thought we'd change this time as the old tradition hasn't been lucky so far!). I read that 1 coffee is fine, probably better than giving up cold turkey if you're a bit of a coffee lover (won't put your body into withdrawal) and also there's so many chemicals in decaf!!

Rtrrops I would stop the alcohol definitely once you have the transfer. The caffeine depends in how much you have. I am about to give birth to our miracle son in a couple of days (finally got a sticky one after 6 stims and 1 fet) I have kept drinking coffee the whole way through. However use to nausea and reflux and everything else I have only managed 1 or 2 cups a day

Thanks ladies, appreciate the feed back, I didn't drink anything over any of my stimming stages and I'm not really a drinker but for some reason it's all I feel like doing is having a few glasses of vino lol maybe because I'm getting a transfer and know that I'll have no choice soon lol well I hope so anyways, I wouldn't dare even have one when I do my transfer but I think o well I'm not pregnant now and the last 6months doing ivf makes me want to enjoy and celebrate before my first transfer but I think deep down I'm Thinking even though iv been told it makes no difference maybe I should be detoxing before hand just to give 100%... Also get sick of ppl saying oooooo not having a wine ...... Baby finally coming lol

I've cut right back on wine to just a few glasses on the weekend and I don't drink caffeine anyway. After I got my period on Cycle 4 I was absolutely devastated and got horrendously drunk. Turns out I was preggers. I can tell you a hangover with morning sickness is not pretty. So now if I get my period and the POAS is coming up positive I hold back commiserating until the blood test. This happened last cycle too but turned out to be a chemical.

@Rtropps I know what you mean about people assuming you are preggers when you are not drinking, every time I go out I feel like I am being watched like a hawk to see if I am having a glass of wine. The worst was when I went to a good friend's hen's night whli in the TWW for my stim cycle and le were asking if I had something to announce because I wasn't drinking. I wish!

Hi ladies hope you don't mind if I join! I'm 7 days into my 5th fresh stim cycle if all goes like my other cycles EPU will be Friday. I'm on on 500 menopur (low AMH) saizen and Melatonin and then orgalutran too all lots of needles!

I've given up booze and caffeine this time , even went to a party last night bought a bottle of non alcoholic wine and put it in a normal wine bottle - the lengths we go to!

    Wishing all a successful cycle
