    I had a cold when I had my last c section. I mentioned it to my ob a couple days beforehand, and then the anaesthesist the morning of surgery. They said as I was having a spinal, there was no reason to postpone. I will give you a heads up though, coughing with a c section wound can be quite uncomfortable and a bit painful. I would use a pillow to push on my wound and support it when I coughed which did make it better. Good luck!!

    Yes. Was going to suggest bracing your wound with a pillow to cough. Use pain relief as well. Better to use pain relief and cough than not use it, not cough and end up with a PE.

    Also if you can get an abdo binder from the physio they are the best post c section!

    I have my src shorts packed? I had c section last time but what's an abdo binder lol.

    If you have src pants you won't need an abdo binder

    I had a shocking cold when i had dd via c section. Everything ran to plan and it was very straight forward.
