No way Channy. I supplied a pic and the cake lady came up with this. It looked amazing! I'm lucky my mil paid for it as part of Ava's present.

    Gorgeous photos Maybee

Glad Lucy is starting to feel better J

River is moving in to her room tonight (in theory) hoping it will improve her sleep as she has gone from sleeping through for 10hrs to waking multiple times a night and not settling. I'm worried my getting up and down to pee is disturbing her sleep. I'm actually sad she is moving out. Not to mention moving all the furniture after work has killed me.

Just a little vent: the last 5 days have been totally **** with my first experience of a sick child. Linc has just got worse and worse and I feel like total failure of a mother, torn between going to work while family look after him or staying home and not being able to pay bills. Last night I took him to a local doctor (after 3 yrs I still can't find one I like locally) and was told that babies under 2 can't have ointment or drops for conjunctivitis. I went home with my very sick bub and no medicine. Today he got even worse and mum called me home from work. So I took him to my family doctor the other side of town, I now have eye drops, antibiotics, a doctors certificate so I get paid for my half day off and enough repeat scripts to get Lincoln's lactose free formula cheap until he is one (my local doctor had told me I had to get him tested at a paed). Just goes to show some doctors are crap :/

Aww Channy it sucks that you can't find a good doctor. Did you like the second one you saw? Hopefully Lincoln is all better soon. You aren't a failure it's so hard when they are sick and you are torn between the need to be with them and the need to earn money

Maybee- the photos are lovely, Ava looked beautiful! Glad she enjoyed her party. Her cake looked fantastic I'd feel bad cutting it up!

J- glad Lucy is feeling better, enjoy your trip.

Bond- good luck for your move. Where abouts on the GC are you moving?

Toni- how'd River go with the big move into her own room?

Channy- awww poor Linc! That other doctor sounds like a loser, glad you got a better one that was much more helpful. Hope he feels better soon.

hope everyone is going well, I've been reading along but very hectic here at the moment. Aurora is almost 7 months - where'd the time go?! She's still a teeny baby. At her 6 month check up (on the 1st July a bit late) she was 62cm long and 5.4kg! She's going really well, she's almost crawling now! And practicing sitting up by herself.
Im currently 13+3 with bub number two, had my NT scan on Monday and all went really well and got good odds 1:20,000 bub was very happy.
Busy planning the wedding, only 4.5 weeks to go!! Eeek!

Channy, it is bloody hard. I constantly feel guilty. Guilty when Sienna is sick and I'm not with her, guilty when I do t go to work because she is sick, and guilty because she never got sick until I went back to work and now she's always sick. All in all, life's one big guilt trip that makes you feel **** about yourself .

That first dr sounds crap. We go to Norwood Village Medical Centre. An hour from home, but there are some good doctors there (and some crap ones)

Those drops say not suitable for babies under 2, unless prescribed by a doctor

The second doctor was my family doctor since I was 9. He is awesome but I don't go to him usually coz he is a 45min drive and doesn't bulk bill. But I'm going to make him Lincoln's permanent doctor.
