Toni hope your eye clears up quickly and doesn't spread!

We've had a lovely day so far. I made banana pancakes for brekkie. She ate some but a lot ended up on the floor :/ We met my sister and her kids at a play centre. Ava tried hot dogs and sausage rolls and loved them. Waiting for Daddy to get home so we can do presents! Out for dinner tonight with our families and then a big party on Sunday with all our family and closest friends. It's been a lovely day together.

How's your eye feeling Toni? Are you putting the drops in every 4-5 hours?

Dr said every 3 to 4 hrs. It's very hard to put drops in your own eye. I've had a couple of doses will dose again before bed. Feel completely lousy but eye isn't quite as painful as it was earlier.

Conjunctivitis is painful! How annoying! Hope not clears up soon.

I think Audrey has a cold. She has been mucousy for a couple of weeks (more at the back if the throat not runny nose etc) and the health nurse said it was normal but it has progressively got worse and she sometimes coughs when she breaths (more in the lead up to crying) and when I clean out her nose with fess. She has also sneezed at least 10times today. Going to the dr tomorrow. Surely that's not a newborn thing? She had been unsettled this last week to fortnight too. Surely each time she is unsettled doesn't equal a growth spurt. Really losing faith in this nurse. Or am I just paranoid?

Or could she be allergic to our cats? Bah she is so hard to read.

Rebecca, if you're worried about her, go to the dr. I have no faith in those nurses. The one I had after Sienna was born was so not helpful. At 3 weeks old she told me to stop Breastfeeding Sienna because she wasn't gaining weight and my supply wasn't good enough (I was already mix feeding her), and that was BEFORE she even weighed her.

Have an appointment at 3:30. She was so upset overnight again and it has taken 1hr to get her to drink 50ml so far as she just keeps falling asleep. It's heartbreaking. I feel so guilty for not going with my gut and taking her sooner
