Lucy and River look so cute.

My girl is 11 months old today. I Breastfed her the other night, she gagged and threw up all over me and the floor, poor bub. She didn't BF at all yesterday and my boobs are getting sore, so I expressed some out while in the shower. I figured if my milk is going to make her vomit than it's time to wean her. Then she woke up, and straight on the boob. Ah well, weaning can wait til another day.

LS, are you sure it's your milk? Is she unwell for another reason, ie. gastro, etc?

She's had a chest infection, so I'm sure she was just feeling yuck and it was a coincidence that it happened when I fed her. She was fine this morning when I fed her.

If she's had a chest infection, she may very well have a build-up of sputum in the stomach (after being coughed-up from the lungs, sputum is then often swallowed). Sputum in the stomach is then often vomitted back up, especially when bubs eats or drinks.
I'm glad she's OK this morning
    J xx.

As always, J, you are an amazing source of useful information as well as an all round awesome person.

Glad Sienna is better now Smurfy! You got any plans for her first birthday coming up?

Meadow had me up up half the night. Think it's her teeth. Frustrating as the night before she had her best night's sleep ever! 8.5 hrs in a row, new record for her beating the 7 hrs she did at 10 weeks old! Lol. So random why she'll sleep well one night then not the next!!!

J, you are a great source of information.

Bond, we're having a party at a play cafe. I have 6 nieces and nephews and wanted them to be entertained.

Great idea. That way you don't have a messy house to clean up afterwards! Sure Sienna will love climbing all over the play equipment. I find it so much easier going to those places now Meadow can get in on the action with Toby rather than having to hold her constantly when she was littler.

    J Lucy is just gorgeous!

Toni happy birthday to river! She looks very tiny with her presents!

We had the twins birthday party on Sunday. Unfortunately everyone but family cancelled so we just had a family BBQ and cake. It was a day we won't forget cause Tyler almost ate a feedback that was in his bread luckily my sister saw it and we all freaked out and managed to kill it before anything happened! The twins will be one tomorrow I can't believe how quick that year went!
