Really feel like I'm drowning trying to get a work/ life balance at the moment. Struggling with trying to be a great mum, great employee plus wife, daughter, granddaughter, house cleaner and run my wedding business to make extra money. I'm only two weeks back work but I feel like I suck at everything. Does it get easier? Is this feeling normal?

    Huge hugs Channy.

It does get easier. 3.5 months of doing it, and I've settled into a routine. I have next to no time during the week to relax though. The hardest thing now, is when she's sick. I feel guilty because childcare is making her sick, I hate seeing her miserable, and I feel guilty because I'm missing work and I'm supposed to be there. I was worried that I would suck at my job when I got back, but I think I've changed and am actually better at my job, and my boss has said the same.

I hope I can settle into a groove at some point

I would suggest trying not to take on too much too quick. Focus on the most important things and add in more as you get in the swing of things.

Hugs Channy. Being a mum is a tough enough gig. The rest is such a massive challenge and in sure you're doing a great job and it's a matter of finding a groove and getting used to the drastic change again

Big hugs Channy...I have no advice as I've not been there yet but I'm sure it'll just take time to get settled. X
