Bond, no sling or carrier here... Yet I'm gong to order a manduca soon! Meanwhile. Looks like it's us on the couch until it passes!

Bond Meadow is just gorgeous in her winter suit!

We are doing a BBQ party in the backyard for River, helps that we live in the tropics and can do something outside through the day. Just doing a sponge cake for her cake.

Shelby, you look incredible!! Well done.
I don't think I have ever seen a photo of Aiden before in past threads?! He is a real cutie. You and your husband make good-looking kids.
I understand about the "clucky" feeling. It makes me very sad to think Lucy is my last baby, and it probably has a great deal to do with the fact she has been such a good baby. If I could convince my hubby to have a 3rd baby, I'd be there in a flash!

Lil Smurfy, I hope you and Sienna are feeling better. Keep up your fluids, OK?! (That's the doctor part of me coming out...but it is really important. Babies lose fluids rapidly with a gastro-type illness, and it makes them feel really unwell and yukky. Offer small amounts of fluid regularly. Hydralyte icypoles are often useful if she will take them.)

    Munchkin,
Poppi looks so comfy nestled on your shoulder...no wonder she doesn't want to be put down! But I agree with the suggestion of a sling; it keeps her close whilst allowing you to still get things done. I am sure you could find one easily if you do a quick Interwibble search.

Rainbow, I love Toby's converse boots...he looks very dashing!

Toni, River looks very clever on her little bike. Lucy is not even close to doing anything that skilful!! How is the pregnancy going? Are you in that nice 2nd Tri stage where the nausea has gone but you're not too enormous?!

Bond, Meadow looks very, very sweet! How is Toby going? Do they play together yet? Oscar is getting more interested in playing with Lucy, although I have to supervise closely as he likes to give her a little "shove" every now and then!!

Thanks everyone for posting photos, and keep them coming!!

    J xx.

DH has just dropped Sienna at childcare, and there's a sign up saying one of the staff has chicken pox and has gone home. Sienna's vaccinations are up to date, how concerned do I need to be, that she's going to catch it? She hasn't been to childcare since Wednesday last week

lil smurfy I also had a sign on the twins Childcare about a case of chicken pic so now we are on chicken pox watch!

All the babies are so cute!!

The twins are now 10months and I'm already planning their 1st birthday it has gone by so quickly I'm not ready for them to grow up I'm not ready for any of my kids to grow up, the last 5 years have gone so quickly it's insane!! Tyler is commando crawling and I have just noticed on how dirty the floor is! And Abigail is not really doing much in terms of movement but growing teeth she now has 6 she got the top 4 at the same time!

Lil Smurfy, no idea about the risks if Sienna has been vaccinated. But I'm guessing very slim!! You certainly don't need that on top of everything else.

Nila, the twins are looking lovely!! Yes it is sad when they grow up and you can see them moving further away from being babies and closer to toddlers! But also good as they become a bit more independent (in theory!).

J, yes Toby and Meadow play together often but he frequently becomes angry with her for touching his toys too, then there are tears!! He thinks he can have whatever she is playing with but doesn't like it when she takes his things. A lesson in sharing still to be learned! He's otherwise doing well thanks but I will be glad when the terrible threes are over, he's very hard work at times!!

Meadow has started cruising around the furniture in the last couple of days rather than just standing there. I am surprised as she's not 9 months til next week and seems too little for it! Definitely can see my baby slipping away from me!!!

Also we've definitely decided to move to the Gold Coast in mid July. So very busy preparing. It's scary but exciting at the same time. Stressful times ahead!

Lil Smurfy, the vaccine for chickenpox isn't given until 18 months. Chickenpox is highly contagious unfortunately, so there is a chance Sienna may get it. The incubation period is 2 weeks, so that particular person at child care would have been contagious before they knew they were sick.
Unfortunately there isn't anything you can do to prevent it...just be on the look-out for fever, general malaise and lethargy, and of course spots.
Fingers crossed she still has some passive protective immunity from you, and this may well be the case.
    J xx.
