Default Rest In Peace Sweet Angel Maddie

    http://m.dailytelegraph.com.au/news/...-1226833229148

Just devastating, I bawled upon hearing this news.

Wishing her family peace and light.
I remember watching her clip on youtube when it was first posted.

Just reminds me that everything is just so painfully temporary and that death does not discriminate.

    Gone but never forgotten x

    Isn't it just so sad
Apparently it was two strains of respiratory viruses that came on really quickly, that had seemed like a cold. One was adenovirus, and the other RSV, and one of the strains gave her a mild case of pneumonia and caused her heart to fail

It would have been so frightening and unexpected, and her parents have said that if your child has the sniffles but instinct says it's more, to get them checked asap.

My 17 wk DS has a cough and blocked sinuses today, and as soon as I read their story I booked him in to the Drs tommorrow.

RIP Maddie, such a gorgeous little soul

It is just tragic. Seems like such a "minor" ailment, and yet a freak of nature complication took her life.
I can't believe that something so beautiful and young and full of life can just be zapped off the face of the earth. I am really struggling with so much death and loss of innocence in the world lately I know that there is so much we don't see but just with the horrors of little Lucas Batty, the Daniel Morcomb case in the media again and now this, I don't want to open a newspaper anymore

I saw that, too. So unfair.

Oh geeze I am just bawling. So bloody sad and unfair. I just don't know how parents cope, i really don't. This hit home to me as well as DS gets the worst respiratory illnesses and had to stay in hospital 3 times last year.

She was such a precious little girl and life is so unfair

I hope the parents are coping and holding each other tight. There was absolutely no doubt how much they adored their little girl. So bloody sad.
