    Default Miscarriage & D&C

I started having a miscarriage on Sunday and an ultrasound on Monday confirmed. I had to have a D&C on Tuesday. Im just wondering if anyone experienced any pain days after having a D&C?

Aww I'm so sorry sweets! I have no idea as I've never had a D&c, but I just wanted to say hang in there.

I'm sure your probably bound to feel some pain? I would defo speak to your dr and tell him though, just to make sure there is no infection.

    So sorry for your loss.
I had a missed miscarriage so no pain before the d and c at all.
After I had a lot if cramping for one day and moderate the day after. I had some stabbing pains in my cervix for about a week on and off.
It was no worse than a period at any time though.

Hi blossom88. I had a missed miscarriage in December and had a D&C. My personal experience wasn't very pleasant, I was in extreme amounts of pain after woods for about 2 weeks. There was no infection it was just my body not coping well with it, I also then ended up very constipated and that caused more pain. It all settled about 2 weeks after the procedure. Sorry for your loss. Hugs .

Im am sorry for your loss I have had a few d&c and the pain after isnt bad, its much like mild period cramps. Do take some pain killers though, panadol for example..not something that will increase your bleeding. Also do take antibiotics if they give them to you and avoid putting anything into your vagina, including baths or sitting in the bottom of the shower until at least after your check up.
