I'd get them done 2-3 days before your scan, just to make sure the results are there.

Mine were done about a week beforehand - check with your gp/midwife/ob & see if they have a preference

My dr told me at least 5 days before the scan. I had bloods done the Wednesday and the scan the following Friday.

Do it at 11 weeks. Usually bloods only take 1-3 days to come back, however if there is an issue at the pathologist you want to make sure you have time to get another lot of bloods done if you need to.

I would get them done at 11 weeks to ensure they are done in time for your scan

If ur getting it done in vic it should be sent to VCGS who process the bloods. On their site they recomnend getting the bloods between 10-11 weeks as they are most accurate then. Then get ur scan at 12 weeks.

Have a look at this link:

    http://www.vcgs.org.au/pathology/sec...2-992e00efe87d

It says to get the blood test within ur 10th week & if u download the request form link at the end it has the proper info attached. It says its most accurate between 10-11 weeks but can be done any time between 9-13+6 weeks. I got mine done at 10+3 then the scan 2 weeks later!

    Hope that helps!
