    We use to do it as part of dd's bed routine. I bought a waterproof mattress protector and use to just let her roll about on her bedroom floor before bath/bed. Must be a nice feeling after being stuck in a nappy all day

    I do this at the same time I do tummy time. A couple of towels or terry toweling nappies on the play mat on the floor.

    Yep we do it too. Sometimes with dd1 that was the only trick I had left by the time dh got home! It would stop her screaming. Same with dd2, she loves it!!

    Don't feel bad that you didn't know. Atleast it's still good weather to let her have some fun with nappy free time. It's harder in winter if you don't have internal heating.

    I always use a towel. They move so quickly and we've had many accidents where she has pooped on the rug. Not fun cleaning bf poo out of a cream rug :/
