    Default returning poor quality shoes

im wondering if i can return some shoes i bought today..
they are boots and i have worn them to work so basically have walked to my car and back and probably for about 10more mins in them and the crease across the toe part is already so visable and a lighter black now..like a grey crease.
such poor quality after 1 day so i want to return them to Myer tomorrow.
I still have box and reciept but they have been worn..

has anyone got any experience with this?
    thank you!

Yes. You can return them. 10 minutes is hardly enough time to have noticeable wear and tear on a shoe.
They are not fit for purpose

I would return them, I'd be really nice about it, and just say you bought them the other day, and you really like them, but they appear to be faulty, this must have been a poor batch of leather or something. They will definitely have to refund or exchange for you if the product is faulty.

I've returned shoes my daughter had worn a few times as the sole came apart. I've also returned shoes I bought for myself after wearing them outside as I put them on, thought they felt weird, but figured I'd get used to them, got home and realised they were two different sizes!

Just so you know, they were legally obligated to refund you on those shoes.

You should NOT expect crease and loss of colour after 10 minutes. Regardless that you had worn them. They were faulty. Myer could not have refused. If they did you could have gone to consumer affairs.

Download the accc app. It details your rights on terms of statuatory warranty.

You are within your rights to obtain a refund both now AND in the future. It's not your fault if you purchase another faulty or poor quality item at another time, so that comment doesn't seem right to me. Glad you got the refund though.
